You could buy it in many stores, or your host family could buy it for you.
Cost for an international phone call(IP card): around US$0.15 to US$0.3 per minutes.
Internet:about US$0.4 per hour (Net Bar)
Airport transfer to or from host family: US$30 one way.
Laundry: US$3 for a shirt; US$6 for one set of business suit.
Transportations:1.Taxi: around US$0.3 per km
The cost starts from US$1.3 (RMB 10) for 3km and below, and increases after 3km.
Rent a car with a driver is around US$70 to US$100 per day.
2.Subway: There are 2 lines of subway and 2 lines of CityRail in Beijing.
Costs of the ticket are from US$0.4 to US$0.8. No stations limited for all lines.
